Gun Hill

Sir George Everest's House

Sir George Everest’s House is a historical heritage site built in 1832. Sir George Everest, was the Surveyor-General of India (1830-1843) and world’s highest peak Mt. Everest is also named after him in 1856. Sir George Everest’s House can be reached be either by 6 Km rough road drive via Haathi paon or 3-4 Km walking from Mussoorie Mall Road. 

Mount View Lake or Lake Mist

Mount View Lake or known as Lake Mist is great picnic spot just 14 Km away from Mussoorie very near to famous Kempty Fall.
